How Life360 helped Julie find her Injured Husband
Julie was home alone and in bed when she received a terrifying call in the middle of the night. Her husband was on the other end of the line and barely able to talk, his voice strained with pain. He was able to quickly tell her that there had been an accident and he was badly hurt before the phone disconnected. A long time Life360 user, Julie reached for her phone and opened the app to see her husband’s last location.
“I kept zooming in on the map until it clearly showed the town he was in, and I was able to find the closest hospital in the area,” said Julie. “I called the hospital and asked if they had an injured man named Rob come through. When they finally got Rob on the phone, he was shocked I had found him – and so quickly!”
Julie’s husband drives trucks to transport goods across the country and had made a typical stop along his route in Tennessee to get a bite to eat. He did not notice the steep slant on which he parked the semi and missed the step down, crashing to the ground. His fall broke several of his ribs and a nearby patron called an ambulance to rush him to the hospital.
Over the past three years, Julie and her family have used the Life360 app to simplify daily coordination and ensure everyone is safe. The whole family enjoys receiving the location notifications and any unusual notifications (or lack thereof) will prompt them to check-in with one another.
